seasonal

each season has characteristics that will affect our experiences during that period. the qualities of each season guide us to the types of foods we should eat and practices we should undertake.

at wyld clwb we prioritise what is in season locally right now. for example, during autumn in the UK the weather is usually cold and dry, so you might find that maybe your skin is dry and you might need to up the layers! the autumn harvest provides us with squashes and sweet root vegetables, and when we combine these with warming spices like cinnamon and ginger, they hydrate and warm our bodies. nature has provided the nourishment we need and keeps us balanced.

when we eat food in peak season it is full of nutrients and it is more sustainable than shipping in produce from outside of the UK.

we source all of our fresh ingredients from the gower peninsula, this includes things like vegetables and fruit, and wyld foraged ingredients. we use @halenmon sea salt from anglesey. all other dry goods are sources from british suppliers, for example @hodmedods for our grains, pulses and seeds. other ingredients like olive oil, nuts and citrus fruits are sourced from organic businesses, like @farmco.wales
